On the bright side, I managed to pass the exam I sat in June. It turned out much better than I thought it would, actually. I honestly thought I had failed, to the extent that I went and looked up the dates of the resits but hey! The results came through and I had passed quite well. I don't know how, the examiner must have been feeling very kind the day he/she marked my paper.
Currently I am looking after my nephew's gerbil. I had full and precise instructions from my nephew as to what to do, and Cleo (the gerbil) is looking fine. But why on earth do these little creatures chuck so much sawdust out of their homes? It's on the table, the floor, in the cabinet next to the table - everywhere! And she looks so innocent, as if it wasn't she who did it.
I'm trying out little treats to see which ones she likes best. Can't give her too many (so my nephew told me solemnly, apparently it's not good for them) but she is partial to a peanut or two. She definitely doesn't like walnuts. She sniffed them in disgust and left them where they fell. There's no pleasing gerbils sometimes, is there?
