Currently I have twelve novels (eleven distinct novels) published on the Amazon sites worldwide. They are shown below. The first three comprise the trilogy ‘Shadow of Avalon’, and are available separately in ebook or paperback form or in the combined volume under the trilogy title as an ebook. Another three are the volumes in my ‘John Plantagenet’ trilogy. The last line of covers shows the first four novels in the new ‘Crown in Conflict’ series.
Shadow of Avalon trilogy:
Shadow of Avalon trilogy:
Against the backdrop of the resistance of the indigenous British people to the invasion of the Anglo-Saxons, the three novels focus on the lives of the narrators and how they were affected by King Arthur in person or through his influence or as a result of the myth that grew about him after his death.
John Plantagenet trilogy:
John Plantagenet trilogy:
These books follow the life of King John of England, the youngest son of King Henry II and King Richard the Lionheart. The first novel tells the story of his childhood until the death of his father in July 1189, the second book concerns John’s exploits during his brother King Richard’s reign, and the final novel takes up the narrative at John’s accession to the throne of England in April 1199.
‘Crown in Conflict’ is a series of novels which will cover a period of time in the middle of the eleventh century. The series will tell the story of Duke William of the Normans, his domestic life and his political and military struggle for survival. The books also follow the fortunes of the family of Earl Godwine of Wessex in England, particularly the life of Earl Godwine’s second son Harold. This man became the physical embodiment of the final fight for the existence of Anglo-Saxon England.

This is a novel that was published briefly in 2015 under the pseudonym Elizabeth Constable. I have decided to republish it under my usual pen-name. It complements the 'Crown in Conflict' series in that it is set in mid-eleventh-century England. Oakenden Hall is the home of a family who is not connected with royalty nor involved in national politics. But the members of the family have their own challenges, and this novel starts to tell their story.
